Larger downtown Starbucks expected to open in late spring

Naperville’s downtown Starbucks at Jefferson Avenue and Main Street should be moving to its new home by May or June.

The new digs on Main Street will be three-to-four times bigger than the coffee shop’s current location just across the street on the southeast corner of the intersection.

Construction on the space that was once the Eddie Bauer store is under way, with infrastructure work being done inside, said Steve Rubin, owner of the building at 203 S. Main St. The new store is expected to open in May or June, Rubin said.
